DOCE PARES MULTI-STYLE SYSTEM

WHAT IS DOCE PARES?

A Filipino Martial Arts system built on versatility and adaptability.

Doce Pares is a Filipino Martial Arts system founded in Cebu, Philippines, in 1932. The name Doce Pares, meaning “Twelve Pairs,” represents the group of martial artists who came together to preserve, develop, and share their knowledge of Eskrima.

The Doce Pares Multi-Style System founded by Supreme Grandmaster Dionisio “Diony” Cañete ODL brings together multiple methods of Filipino Martial Arts into a comprehensive system. Rather than focusing on a single weapon or range, practitioners develop skills using single stick, double stick, stick and dagger, empty-hand techniques, striking, defensive movement, and sparring.

At its core, the system develops timing, distance, coordination, speed, adaptability, and the ability to transition between weapons and empty-hand combat.

WHAT YOU’LL TRAIN

HOW TRAINING PROGRESSES

02

TECHNIQUE & PARTNER DRILLS

Develop coordination, timing, distance, combinations, counters, and reactions through structured partner training.

03

CONTROLLED RESISTANCE

04

SPARRING & APPLICATION

Bring the pieces together through controlled sparring and application-based training that develops timing, decision-making, and confidence under pressure.
