WHAT IS INDAYOG NG BASTON?
Movement. Rhythm. Adaptability.
Indayog ng Baston Eskrima Combat System is an integrated Filipino Martial Arts system that combines the principles and weapon skills of Eskrima with the striking, movement, and pressure of kickboxing.
The name Indayog ng Baston reflects the rhythm or movement of the stick—the idea that effective combat is built through continuous movement, timing, flow, and the ability to adapt as distance and circumstances change.
Rather than separating weapons and empty-hand training, the system develops them together. Students learn how the same concepts of footwork, angles, timing, distance, offense, and defense can carry from stick fighting into striking and empty-hand combat.
The goal is not simply to collect techniques, but to develop a fighter who can move, transition, react, and adapt across different ranges of combat.
ONE MOVEMENT • MULTIPLE RANGES • CONTINUOUS ADAPTATION
WHAT YOU’LL TRAIN
Weapons. Striking. Grappling. One connected system.
Indayog ng Baston training develops the ability to move between weapons and empty-hand combat while maintaining the same core principles of timing, distance, angles, movement, and adaptability.

Develop punches, kicks, combinations, defense, footwork, and movement while connecting striking concepts to the same ranges and angles used in Eskrima.
STICK GRAPPLING

WEAPON-TO-EMPTY-HAND TRANSITIONS

RANGE & TRANSITION TRAINING
Develop the ability to recognize changing distance and move between weapon range, striking range, and close-range engagement.
SPARRING & COMBAT APPLICATION

STRIKE • GRAPPLE • TRANSITION • ADAPT
HOW THE SYSTEM COMES TOGETHER
Different ranges. Shared principles. Continuous movement.
Indayog ng Baston is built around the idea that combat does not remain at one distance or within one set of techniques. Range can change quickly—from weapons to striking, from striking to close-range control, and back again.
Training develops the ability to recognize those changes and adapt while maintaining the same fundamental principles of movement, timing, positioning, balance, and control.

DON’T JUST TRAIN THE TECHNIQUE. TRAIN THE TRANSITION.
THE FLOW OF COMBAT
Flow is not a pattern. It is the ability to adapt.
In combat, distance, timing, position, and opportunity are constantly changing. Indayog ng Baston Eskrima develops the ability to recognize those changes and continue moving with purpose rather than becoming locked into a single technique or range.
Flow does not mean performing a predetermined sequence. It means being able to strike, defend, transition, control, and respond as the situation develops.
Whether working with the stick, exchanging strikes, entering close range, or using stick grappling, students learn to connect their skills through common principles of movement, timing, balance, positioning, and awareness.
SEE THE CHANGE • MAKE THE TRANSITION • CONTINUE THE FIGHT
